AGNOSIS Anti-Jamming GNSS
Protect Your Platforms from Jamming Threats
Meteksan Defence designs and manufactures Jamming Resistant Global Positioning Systems, which are resistant to deceptions and jammers, and capable of precise positioning and velocity calculations, with platform-specific solutions.
AGNOSIS uses spatial filtering methods to suppress the signals of jammers. The system makes a direction/angle dependent filtering in space with phased array antennas and the jammer signal is distinguished from real satellite signals. Depending on the number of phased array antennas used, it is possible to detect the location of more than one jammer and clear the jammer signals. In this way, while high amplitude signals generated from jammers are beingcleaned, signals produced by jammers trying to deceive are spatially filtered.
One Solution for all Military Platforms
AGNOSIS Anti-Jamming GNSS includes CRPA antenna with antenna array configuration and signal processing unit Signals acquired by CRPA are digitized with high dynamic range receivers and processed by a signal processing unit. Jamming signals are filtered by using signal processing techniques, and the original signal without the jamming signal is reconstructed again for delivering to standard GNSS receivers.
Meteksan Defence has developed the AGNOSIS Anti-Jamming GNSS which consists of a jamming/deception sensitive antenna and signal processing unit to be used in aircraft and munitions, with experience on developing munition data links, avionic sub systems and antenna designs.
The system, which consists of array antenna and a signal processing unit that controls these array antennas according to the jamming direction, has been developed entirely with domestic and national capability. The AGNOSIS Product Family is able support multi – frequency bands and multiple satellite systems simultaneously which makes the system one of the most effective and reliable jam-resistant global positioning systems.
Today, most military platforms depend on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). Jamming GNSS signals may cause many platforms to fail their mission. For this reason, development of GNSS anti-jamming systems and sustaining the performance of the military platforms in jamming environments is a crucial need.
AGNOSIS Anti-Jamming GNSS includes CRPA antenna with 4 or 8 antenna array configuration and 1 signal processing unit with multi receive channels. Signals acquired by CRPA are digitized with high dynamic range receivers and processed by a signal processing unit. Jamming signals are filtered by using signal processing techniques, and the original signal without the jamming signal is reconstructed again for delivering to standard GNSS receivers.
