Robust protection and high electromagnetic transparency in harsh environmental conditions is ensured for Ku-band BLOS bi-directional communication systems on ANKA-S and other similar strategical UAVs. Meteksan can design and produce custom radomes for various platforms.

The assembly and production of the Turkish Unmanned Aerial Vehicle “ANKA,” designed by Turkish Aerospace engineers with the collaboration of numerous local subcontractors, were successfully completed, and it was rolled out of the hangar on July 16, 2010, with a ceremony held at the Turkish Aerospace facilities. ANKA, whose first engine run was completed following its hangar roll-out, aims to be the world’s best operative system in its category.

After its maiden flight on December 30, 2010, a contract for the serial production of 10 ANKA Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (ANKA-S) was signed in October 2013. The activities for the ANKA-S Project were successfully completed.

Since 2014, the ANKA Unmanned Aerial Vehicle has been showcased at the ILA Berlin Airshow, Farnborough Airshow, and Paris Airshow, the world’s most prominent exhibitions.

With its high mission readiness rate, ANKA fleets have joined the inventories of various end users, accumulating a flight duration exceeding 230,000 hours as of January 2024.
